Cargo consolidation

Often in international practice it is necessary to deliver small lots of goods starting from a few kgs up to few tons. To hire a separate vehicle is too expensive and so we can load 2 or more cargos in 1 vehicle  – this type of delivery is called consolidation and the goods are called consolidated cargo.

In some cases consolidation cargos are delivered through transit warehouses, which have transport connections on a regular basis.

Consolidated shipments allow to cut the cost of small lot deliveries essentionally, to optimize the movements of the vehicles avoiding  free-running of trucj fleet.

We must say that develipment of internatioanal consolidated shipments in Ukraine and CIS is delayed due to the strict cargo control by customs authorities and a slow development of warehousing system.
