Oversized cargo shipments

Most of trucks are used for cargo delivery with width 2,45m, length up to 13,6m, height up to 3,1m,weight up to 24 mts. Goods which exceed the mentioned dimensions are called oversized cargos.

Transportation of oversized cargo requires special vehicles and also having a permits for such a delivery along the whole cargo route.

For such deliveries, as a rule, it is important to thoroughly think through the route, considering about the heights and width of the bridges and fences, national carriage rules of oversized goods in countries of transit. In some countries depending on dimensions of the transported cargo you must have not only a permit from road authorities but also a car-convoy of the vehicle (such as police cars, road services, etc).

For oversized cargo deliveries by trucks are usually used special drop-frame trailers – platforms.
